# Update claim status

PUT //jmcpclaimsapi.jewelersmutual.com/careplan/claims/claimAction
Content-Type: application/json

Updates the status of an existing claim by marking it as repaired or replaced. Optionally accepts repair cost details and a return shipping tracking number.

## Request

### Body (application/json)

This endpoint expects a ClaimActionRequestDto.

- `claimAction` (enum, optional) — Claim action type
  - Allowed values: `MARK_REPAIRED`, `MARK_REPLACED`, `REQUEST_CHANGES`
- `claimId` (string, optional) — System claim id
- `note` (string, optional) — Note for the Claim Processor
- `productCode` (string, optional) — Product code
- `repairInfo` (list of RepairInfoDto, optional) — Repair information: repair type, repair price/quantity
- `toCustomer` (CostTrackingNumberDto, optional) — Cost and tracking number object
